No folders today but found these in a bureau drawer at the flea market today.
The table knife is marked,(Alaska Warranted)and is silver plate.Bought it for the unusual mark.
The Russell Stainless carver has been carelessly sharpened with some type of electric device.
The Case CAP200-8" is in great shape save some small scratches in the blade.
Big investment today: all three for a dollar!

I need to do some more research on the KA-BAR hobo knives but based on the stamps I'm thinking the 1930s. It's a slot knife, meaning the three utensils (knife, fork, spoon) are able to be detached into separate stand-alone pieces. Slots inside the knife hold it together when re-assembled. I normally shy away from knives I know little about but this was in great shape and he was willing to deal on it so I couldn't resist.

Im hoping there's some KA-BAR experts here that will educate me.

In a local junk shop today and found this little Case bull nose. I am not a fan of the bull nose and obviously the previous owner was not either and reshaped the blade to something more "street" worthy. Anyway for $5.00 I couldn't pass it up. It does make a good package opener.

Didn't find any new knives today but I found something just as good on my way home. Stopped at a garage sale and lo and behold! A bunch of knife magazines and a baker's dozen of Knife World for $4.90. Plenty of good reading for awhile.

Went out to the antique stores with my sister today. Nothing much to speak of cutlery-wise, but I did pick up this Cutco 1069 for $15.

cutco1069.jpg
It does have the sheath, which I'll have to fix the snap on.

I went back to the hardware store today and picked up a few more NOS camillus knives. I got one of the 72's yesterday. I actually paid the prices that were on the boxes 8)

Paul that’s a nice haul there. All of them great. But that folding hunter with sheath takes the cake.
