Some pics from my game camera. Lot's of varmints around. The darn cows knocked over my feeder again.

Good photos and I had to laugh at the coon hanging there upside down.

Unk, some interesting pictures! Looks like y'all need to thin the squealer population, wow! I've been using tri-pods for quite a few years but with the barrels suspended by a cable and boat winch, eliminates the issue of having to climb up a ladder or get the truck in position to fill the feeder. The tripod legs are EMT. Here are pictures that are self explanatory:

I like those feeder photos, Unk and Treefarmer! My favorite was the one with the raccoon and the pig.

My favorite photo is the one which captured a probable Sasquatch in the shot of the coyote.
Just a quarter inch to the left of the coyote's head back in the bushes. Dark form. Many will claim it is a mere shadow but I prefer my tale.

Re: Outdoorsman Thread
Hi Ray, my lease is in Stephens Co., about 15 miles outside of Breckenridge.
Treefarmer, one of the guys on the lease has one of those feeders with a winch. Those are really nice, but pricey.
Below is my new one. After my buddy saw my old feeder knocked over for the second time, he made the new one for me. He did it without asking or telling me, took it out there, set it up, and filled it with corn! Yes, he is a good friend. We have been best friends since the first day of third grade about 50 years ago.
And I can't complain about the price....he said I don't owe him anything. I have been accumulating a small pile of fixed blade hunting knives, so I will slip a little money to him, and he will have a new (old) hunting knife on his belt next time I see him. I have a nice Schrade 165 or a Golden Spike 153 (both USA made) he would probably like.

Maybe the best photo I ever took, at least my favorite not including my sweet Carol. I should have posted it on the 4th. Taken on the Elk Refuge at Jackson Wy. Awesome birds.

Tim, congratulations, those are magnificent photos! I noticed the critter flying between the deer's ears, just guessing, it looks like a bumble bee, maybe?
I know nothing about cameras but it appears you have it figured out! Your focus has captured tiny individual feathers, so clearly! The same quality we would see in a National Geographic.

Tim, I am in genuine awe. What splendid photos, one after the other. Two questions: Is that a Dikisel (SP?) in the 2nd photo? And were those shots taken relatively close to home or widely dispersed. If close, may I ask what geographical area you live in which produces such a wonderful variety, e.g. southern, central, or Northern Il.?

Your second set of photos was posted as I typed my previous post. After that first shot of the 2nd series you could knock me over with a feather.
Tim, are you a professional photographer or a hobbiest? Inquiring minds want to know.
