Jerryd I got that one From S&D in Ohio. It doesn't come with any way to hang it on the wall. $66 shipped though so it's reasonable. I need about 5 more and I will gain a little shelf space I think.

gsmith, you lucked out with the little M&G, it came with its own hanger. All you need is a nail.

It doesn't have "keyhole" notches in the back???? Mine came with the keyhole slots already cut.

Similar to what's shown here?? I have a router bit that cuts these hanger holes. I've used it on shelves I've made (amongst other things).

Nope. Only thing on the back is 4 felt pads. I've got plenty of those rings that nail on to the corners.That'll be a quick fix.

Good score Homer, always when dealing with FFF. Was wondering what kind of pivot that is on the top one that doesn't say Gerber? Is that an Axial lock? Cool knife.

Iman you can't beat ole Scott, even with a stick, good dude.I was kinda hoping but the little knife is a frame lock, says Gerber on the round thingie and on the clip, slick little bugger though, needs a little honing but I'll get around that soon. Gonna tote some old bones and it today.

big homer, you said a mouthful! 1st, Scott is a good dude and then I wondered about the "thingie" , figured it was whole modern lookin' "thingie" knife next to those beautiful old Queens. You don't let them rub up against the "thingie" do you?

This precision shooter of lube just showed up. Way less mess and waste than a drop every time of my regular brand applicator. Uses less, so should last longer too. Tried it out on a couple and so far so good

My first experience with Quick Release was an applicator like that. It worked great as long as it lasted but about halfway through the life of the QR, the tube cracked and was no good anymore. I guess I could have put some shrink tube over it but didn't think of it at the time. Just my experience.

Good to know Jerry, I will file that one. Too late for your tube maybe, but I noticed the stuff practically runs out without squeezing if you tip it up and wait or shake very gently and let gravity push it out. I will try to shake and dump rather than squeeze and see if I can avoid the cracking. Thanks for the heads up.

First up is a Kansas Cane Cutter by Maher & Grosh. I like this pattern. Common GEC stiff springs; about an 8 to open. Then comes a Buffalo Creek. F&F Very Good. Walk & Talk, okay but nothing special. I am aware of certain suspicions about this brand about possibly being a China production. But everything from the blades to the box are stamped Germany, German Steel, etc. Those German brands that have their knives assembled in China indicate that on the tang. It would be pretty bold of Taylor brands to be so devious as to eliminate all reference to China. Possible, but until other evidence is forthcoming I must consider the knife brand as German made. If you have other facts kindly share them. Thanks.

I especially like the stock on the M&G and the Buffalo Creek looks like a sturdy knife.

Thank you doglegg. I agree, the M&G is interesting. The F&F of the Buck Creek is impressive: the seating of the closed blades, the transitions at the bolsters, and the very well matched stag covers.

I was paddling around the Bay on Tuesday, hooked and landed these three. Had I been paying attention to my business, I would have thrown this little 2" Colt back but it's too late now.

Re: the Christmas Trapper, I've been wanting one with the N/S band on the handle for quite some time. Decided it was time.

The 125th Anniversary Mini-Trapper speaks for it's self.

For any one else that would be quiet a haul Mr Gsmith. (no pun intended with the use of the word haul but it does fit) And for you JerryD alias Mr. Trapper, certainly desirable trappers all three. Nothing wrong with the little colt. Mr Postal Carrier brought these two humble offerings. A Case XX 61024 1/2 off ebay and a Camillus rope knife from our own triple f Mr Scott. As usual Scott threw in a little 'yapa' in the form of a stone. Thanks Scott.

Greg that's a 06230 1/2 they are 3 1/4 inch closed kind of like the little brother of the 45.

Jerryd that sure is a fancy tang stamp on that 125th.Purty handles too. I think that's a nice looking knife with the Red And Green bone separated by the band

Doglegg that Case is a nice knife I looked that one over a couple of times and I just got my first Cammilus rope knife a couple of weeks ago. Great snags!
