AAPK member appreciation GAW
If I haven't said it before, I just wanted to state my appreciation for AAPK (Thanks Bryan) and for its' members. You guys (and gals) have inspired me, befriended me, supported me, taught me, challenged me. I have met some of you in person, and I have done work for many of you. This is a laid back place to hang out, with a ton of knife knowledge and generous people. Thanks for making it that way!
As a small token of of my appreciation, I am offering up 2 knives to give away. This will be 2 drawings, so 2 winners. They are modded knives, of course. They are probably 2 of the nicer mods I have done, but I just haven't got around to using them, so I wanted to send them along to someone who might enjoy them. Okay, here are the knives:
Camillus 72 in amber stag. It's not a new knife, but in real nice condition:
The other knife is a Case Peanut in mammoth. Super nice looking knife:
Okay, to the rules. Giveaway is open to any member having at least 25 posts as of today. This includes Bryan, mods, anyone can enter. Must be able to legally own these knives. My last is not so much a rule, but a request. Please don't enter if you're going to win and then turn around and sell the knife. Of course, winners are free to give the knife away if they wish.
Please pick a number between 0-1000. I'll probably let this run about a week.
Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 1000.
Also, if you are only interested in winning one certain knife as opposed to the other, please state that in a post. Good luck!
Glenn

Right On, Glenn...Very Cool!
But, since there are two drawings, shouldn't we be able to enter twice? (I want both of those beautiful knives!)

Re: AAPK member appreciation GAW
Amen to what you said Glenn.... I am another that has learned a TON from the great people that hang out here. Even if I ask a STUPID question, I always get a real well spoken answer. I have been to other sites for different subjects, where the people with the knowledge look down on the ones with lesser knowledge... (I speak specifically of NAWCC... real turds over there).
I have read thru threads where the ones that know how to get into a knife will show a very good set of pics and a great explanation of their procedures so others can benefit.
I really like to rescue the "lost cause"knives that everyone else wants to pitch in the can. I got the confidence and skills to do that by hanging out with the great folks here.
Glenn, It would be an honor to win a knife you have rescued. I'm in.
Mike
