Cal the good thing about a crusty old 8ot is that you won't be afraid to use it!
This is what I have for today. I received the buck (and a few other knives) in a giveaway, I think the handles look pretty neat.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice looking carries gents. Nothing fancy for me lately, being in the process of moving, this Vic Pioneer has been seeing a lot of use for quick screw loosening / tightening, poking, digging, prying and cutting. Figure I might just as well leave it in my pocket full time for a spell. I ground off the annoying key ring attachment a few years ago, didn't like the way it jutted off the end of the knife and I never used it anyway. So I guess I turned it into a Soldier now instead of a Pioneer. Wonder what I could do to it to turn it into a Marine...
...guess I would have to send it off to MCRD for 13 weeks of hell to earn that title!

Getting ready to spray some Roundup and 2-4-D. Military, jumbo Solingen Boker, and a SAK Spartan. I think I have the bases covered.

Neighbor been doing the same thing, if you don't stay ahead of weeds and bushes they take the farm. Toted these and they helped a time or two.Colonel26 wrote:Getting ready to spray some Roundup and 2-4-D. Military, jumbo Solingen Boker, and a SAK Spartan. I think I have the bases covered.

Today I carried this old Shapleigh D/E that was gifted to me from Charlie aka waynorth, several years ago at the OKCA show in Eugene.
Takes a wicked edge and has that old feel to it.

Great knife Perry! Glad to see you posting again, missed you around here.
Ironically enough I was just drooling over some other old Shapleigh D/E knives this evening, that is a fine example you have there.

Same as yesterday, spraying and toting the same trio.
Big H those mimosa trees, mare’s tail, blackberries, elderberries, wild rose, rabbit tobacco, and hog weeds are trying to take over the whole place. It hadn’t been looked after for years before we bought it last July. I think it’ll take a couple of years if it don’t kill me first to get her straightened out.
