Here I have a schrade walden 881 stockman in peachseed bone. Blades snap well and are tight, the spey has a very tiny amount of play. It was buffed by somebody at one point, all the blades have a mirror finish on the front side and satin on the back. The clip is a little bit short with some evidence of very light pitting, the other blades look pretty full.
I'm mostly interested in trading, feel free to make fair trade offers or cash offers. Please PM with interest.

Looking at front handle, above the shield, between handle pin and upper edge: has the bone been patched ?

It may have been, I never even thought about it. I'll take a closer look when I am home. Thank you for pointing it out to me.kootenay joe wrote:Looking at front handle, above the shield, between handle pin and upper edge: has the bone been patched ?

If it is a patch it is one of the best i have seen for matching color and jig. Could also be just the way the light hits that area making the bone look a little fuzzy on the edges.

I took some better pictures, it does not appear to be a patch to me. If so, as you say it's a very good one.kootenay joe wrote:If it is a patch it is one of the best i have seen for matching color and jig.
