Pommel for Western knife

I'm refurbishing a western knife for a friend. Does anyone know where to get the pommels?

I see leftover Western parts pop up on eBay occasionally. I see blanks of that knife a lot, but I haven't seen a pommel.

Yea they're hard to find.

I think probably the easiest thing to do is make your own from a piece of aluminum.
About the second knife my son made he put an aluminium pommel on it. I asked him where where he got the pommel and he said "I made it."
Even knowing he made the pommel I wouldn't have been able to pick out his pommel in a pile of knives with factory-made pommells. He did a very good job on it!

I was shocked how easily he made it and how good it looked.
