Thanks Cal, much appreciated. While I prefer the jigged bone handled hunters and they mostly don't have any pommel, the age and condition of this was such I couldn't leave it there. Both the sheath and the knife look like they were carried a little and stored.

guess would be early 1940's with that pommel tho...
is that a 5361 pattern,,, if not, its its brother,, sweet !!!

Near as I can figure it's a model 92, preceded the 5361. I'll be posting another that came in the mail today, looks like a Case XX USA 366 from a quick study.

Found this on ebay and took a flyer as the knife looked great, the sheath not so much but the money wasn't much either. In looking at Sargents 4th I think its a 366, discontinued in 1967. Interestingly, the same model came in a round pommel but was discontinued in 1950. The only thing that puzzles me is the length doesn't match either of the 366's shown and my knife doesn't look like its been sharpened let alone ground on. I've attached a couple of pictures. And if anyone has a period sheath for this small knife, I'm interested.

This one arrived today from Canada where it sat in some stock room on a shelf since 2001.

This is a late '50's, early '60's Wilkinson Sword Royal Air Force survival knife. It was in dire need of a light restoration and the scabbard had suffered some what. It's a Bear MGC, made in the USA. The seller, in Ontario Canada, listed it as "old stock". It's 12 1/2" over all length, has ram's horn handle scales, and came with the factory box and sheath. It was made in 2001.

That is a great grab Scott. Is there any marks on the off side tang? That may be a 3325-6 military knife.

This is really strange, I had never seen one before. It is a Saladmaster 205 hunting knife with sheath. Wouldn't you want to be seen out in the woods hunting and carrying one of these on your belt. If you catch the sun just right you could suffer permanent eye damage. Blade is stainless steel, handle appears to be chrome plated cast aluminum. Hmm, wonder if anyone collects these?

Seems to me that I remember seeing venders at the state fair that used to sell some type of food processors with that name, didn't think they sold knives too, but they sure could have. Thanks for showing it. Terry

Here is one I just finished up for our local VA banquet, a military ball in May. I donated one half of what ever it brings on their live auction that evening. I believe this is the first ball they have put on. Being a Vet myself, I think it is a good cause. The blade is forged 1080 with a G 10 camo type handle and a black leather sheath with tie downs. The blade is my copy of a Western W-31 parachutist knife made in the late 1940's. Terry
