Snagged this one today before the weekend crowd goes through.
Wards MOP in good shape on both sides.

That is a real nice MOP. I have several Wards knives, they are very good quality. A lot of the MOP you see have chips or pieces missing from being dropped.

Here are the new acquisitions from an active weekend. Not shown are a couple of fast movers. One was a Case Texas Lockhorn with stag handles. It had some use but pretty much flew outta there. Also a Case Blade Changer that wasn't mint but had never been used. Both were fast sellers.
One question about the Case XX fixed blade that may be a life raft survival tool. It is not one of the folding knives that are seen fairly often but more like a bolo or such? 1st one I have ever seen. I looked thru LG4 and couldn't find it so will appreciate any help as to ID, value and such?

Ray, Somehow I missed your question about the Case machete.

What you have there is the one and only REAL WW2 V44. Not like the false V44s that are really the Collins #18 Pequeno Machete and authorized clones by Case, Western and Kinfolks.

I'm not a big fan of fixed blades but when I see one in need I try to help. This little Schrade 152 was on the bottom shelf at the local pawn shop, the blade had something on it that just looked nasty, thus the bottom shelf I suppose. After looking at some overpriced used pocket knives I again looked at this little Sharpfinger and noticed the blade appeared not to have been missharpened or maybe never sharpened. Brought it home and after a few minutes of Mothers and a rag it cleaned up pretty well. I was surprised at the range of prices for the USA 152s.

Miniture Imperial. Nothin fancy. One and a half inches long. Given to me today by a coworker who found it over the weekend for a buck and knew I collected knives. Nice thought and gift and much appreciated by me. It's got a P and a bunch of numbers on tang. I'm thinking imperial.

Nice save-the Sharpfinger was often used as biker gang member knife. Inexpensive and well built it could slash and stab and be left behind at the scene. I have bought and cleaned up a few all with blood on them. Nice deer hunter too.

Thanks Woody, I wouldn't have a clue on the Keen Kutters age. The Walkill, and the Keen Kutter had the look like if they could talk they would have a couple interesting stories to tell.

Thanks Phil, I will do that. I don't post many photos, I enjoy looking and reading at and about everyone elses knives. I have a lot to learn and this is a good place for that.

I don't know who currently owns the brand but it was made in China so who knows what factory it came out of. However, it's been my experience that the Colts are very well made.

Well I finally broke the ice today after about 2 years. Picked up this little gents serpentine 3-blade. Perfect brown bone, swedged primary with tapered long pull and excellent snap all around. Tang stamped Krusius-Solingen Germany.(1856-1983) I'd guess somewhere between the 50's and 70's. Seen some use, but not terribly worn and should clean up nicely. It doesn't fit into my focused collections, but for $2 at a yard sale, I wasn't gonna leave it behind. Besides, it was just too cute!

And so it begins again!
