KA-BAR boy's knife
Just received this small hunting fixed blade. It is small and light, at 7.75 inches. Clearly pre-war and probably marketed to youngsters (like me
). It has been lightly 'cleaned' (as they say), but it does not appear to have ever been used. The handles are probably celluloid, a very pretty variety to me, and are absolutely stable (so far). The sheath is in tip-top condition and I believe it to be correct.

Re: KA-BAR boy's knife
I suppose you could call it a boys knife although KA-BAR made two smaller ones. The cell on your knife should be OK, it is a patented KA-BAR process where the handle is wood with a thin skin of celluloid over it. These don't seem to deteriorate as much as thick celluloid pieces do. I believe you are correct that the knife and sheath match. I almost bid on it myself!!

Great looking knife. I really like the handle.
