Been lucky Doglegg, we've seen the sun about half the time this week. Rainy season is on the way out fortunately. Des Moines is right on the water, we're inland several miles, makes a difference, but you're right during the winter months. Thanks, an old Ed K Tryon Philadelphia. They don't make them like this anymore.

Jtx, It would take me too long to explain why I think the composition of your photo is one of the best, perhaps the very best, I have ever encountered here. It has to do primarily with the textures of the three objects progressing from the background wall to the knife to the lock. For me this is a superior photograph.

'cocked and locked' great photo.

Quick Steel, thanks for the kind words. I was just getting ready to unlock that door and thought, maybe it would make a good photo. Honestly I never am sure that a photo will turn out well or not. It is just fun to try different things.
