Nice job Scott. I bet you learned a lot too. Now you know a lot that you won't have to learn on the next one!
I still learn something on each knife I build or mod.
Keep it up Scott, you are doing great.
It is addicting isn't it?

Re: Here we go....Custom COLONIAL FIXED BLADE
TripleF, I love your rework of the handle on that knife. Reminds me of the hammer my dad repaired as a little boy. It has been around about as long as I can remember. I used to drive nails in stumps with it, like your campers. Every time we went to work with it there were always comments and a few laughs. I prized it. When Dad passed away the first thing I said I wanted was the old hammer. I still use it. Reroofed my house a couple of times with it. Not the prettiest hammer and not the fanciest but still working after 65 years. I hope some day some fellow will say, remember that ole knife dad got from triplef?TripleF wrote:Pretty rough but it's done....

Good work. I like it better without the guard.

LOL.....I made room for the guard when I penned the holes but when I finished drilling.......I was off center enough so the guard wouldn't fit. Duh.
