Another Bulldog Barlow Comes My Way
Well, I just got this one on Saturday. This is the Bulldog S&D Our Best Barlow with the spear blade. It's BKC 363, 1 of 196. I have definitely started to favor the Bulldog Barlow.

You do know there is a California statute that declares a limited number of German products allowed in one household..

Thank you. Yeah I'm overlimit that's for sure. I have finalized a 3 7/8 inch Barlow and I'm going to start fitting it in where I can. This first one will be of the plain jane variety to save time. No filework and I plan to keep it simple. I plan to cut out the brass liners and center liner tomorrow depending on honey do's. I'm going to make a new set of slackners FIRST but I'll just keep that simple by buying a set of feeler gauges and peening a simple handle of some sort on each. I will color code them, being an electrononic technician at one time, I'll just use the color code for resistors on the handle. anything .010 will have a brown handle with the corresponding color. .010 will be brown handle with black stripe, .011 will be DARK brown, .012 will be brown red and so on. I'll finally be able to pull what I want out at a glance.
0 black
1 Brown
2 red
3 orange
4 yellow
5 green
6 blue
7 violet
8 gray
9 white
Since I know the code like the back of my hand, I should be able to pull the right slackener at a glance - IN THEORY!

Thats a nice one Hukk. I am looking for more of those myself. Like you said, they are a heavy well made knife.
