A minty 285UH with the Schrade over Stainless stamp and jimped liners. Been hunting for a long time to find one of these in minty shape w/ box. Don't think this box is correct for it however, but I do have one that I think is correct.

885UH w/ Schrade+ over USA 885UH stamp that is serialized. Been hunting for one of these for a while too that have a serial#. I'm sure there were a bunch made, but they've been a bit elusive for me.

A Schatt & Morgan Sowbelly pattern 033160 made in 2014. Got it from Risner. Torched Stag handles. Three springs.
PS.....don't tell anybody but he's running a sale on these.

A GEC 81 Bull Moose with Smooth Appaloosa Bone handles. I'm really likin' this one.

The Blue Case Classic Coke bottle came from Knives Templar, Thanks Tom.
The Western trapper is a liner lock version of a trapper I recently received.
The Ganzo Firebird is a surprisingly well made knife for $20.

Not really. The main blade has both up and down and side to side play once opened. It's a shame cause the main blade is really full.
The ebay seller thought the tang stamp read M.I. Cutlery. I could not find any info on that manufacturer so I bid low just to see what it was all about.
Turns out, after cleaning it up, it was a PAL.

No, but this is my 3rd Ganzo axis lock. They seem to be well made knives but as with most asian pocket knives, the temper of the steel is the unknown factor.

I have several Ganzo autos. They open with authority and lock-up with no blade play. I'm planning to buy a few more - if I can stop buying old beat-up ebay knives long enough to do it. Of course, I can't *carry* the Ganzo autos in my great state of Kommiefornia. I think my favorite (so far) is the F7582-AL. You can see a picture of it here: viewtopic.php?f=86&t=55609#p624827

I love the "Protech-like" blade shape.

I thought this one made two of these but it turns out the one I already had is a 4" and this one is a 3-3/8" which fits right in with my small collection of medium jacks. Half stops on both blades, the pen blade on this little devil is a certified nail breaker.

I do not. They just happen to please my eye and that's as far as it goes for me. I'm sure if Bonfire bob were still alive, he could spit it out without giving it a seconds thought.

Doing a little research on AAPK, I found:

By orvet ---► The Anvil line from Colonial Cutlery. Goins says they started about 1972.

By Bonfire bob ---► Anvil Brand, early 70's and up...

By Steve Paolantonio Colonial Knife Corp. ---► introduced into the Colonial line of products during the 1970's the Anvil brand series was designed by the students at the Rhode Island School of Design. there were the standard three size, small med. and large all three blades.
The Anvil series was manufactured until the year 2000.
