colonel coon knife

Post by walls.jt »

I have a knife that is supposed to be a colonel coon made in tn. in 1972 supposedly there were only 200 made. Could you tell me if they are worth anything or if i just have a old pocket knife.

The new line of Colonel Coons is really hot right now. Knives that are issued now under the name can be turned around on eBay for a very nice quick profit. The older Coons made by Adrian Harris are very collectible and sell for quite a bit on eBay on the rare occasions they turn up there.

I believe that the Colonel Coon stamping only dates back to the late 70's though. It only lasted 10 years. My book says 1978-1988.

Sounds like a nice one.
A life without pocketknives is dull and pointless.
