Oh wait! Hey! Am I one of the three in the know. I didn't know that until just now but I'll bet I am. I'm pretty sure I don't know what it is but I think I may know who it is.

Phil, that right there is a Hydra bomb (Hydra being the Lernaean Hydra, a many-headed serpent in Greek mythology).

I was out bid on that Old Cutler and should have dropped a few bucks more on it but wasn't around when it ended.
I kept checking your auctions for the fish knife but it never appeared. Though you might have sold it.
Boy was I surprised when I opened the box. Dropped that fish knife in my cigar box filled with other Colonials. Looks good there.
My son saw the paracord lanyard and just had to have it so it's now his.
Thanks again Scott and look out for return fire. ::tu::

No need for return fire.....
BTW....if you ain't gonna be around when an auction ends, or don't care if you're around.....put in a bid you're willing to pay and let it ride.
For example.....if you'll pay $20.44 for an item, bid it. If the bid is at $1.44 you'll take the lead at $1.94 ::ds:: Now, if someone bids $5.00....you'll immediately take over at $5.50 without being present! ::ds:: Well, what if someone bids $10.00....you'll immediately take the lead at $10.50 without being present.
Get it?
Never forget the first time the other bidder beat me out "immediately". LOL.
Oh and if it ends up at the number the last bidder hit, but doesn't reach your amount.....that's all you pay! ::ds:: Without being present!!!!!
In this example you lost the Olde Cutler knife to a $10.50 bid..........and could have won it, possibly, with a higher proxy bid that automatically kicks in even if you're not "around" to bid!

It's amazing how much work you can do without being present!!!! That's how I normally win auctions!!

OR you could use a sniper application to do your bidding for you. For an explanation of what a "sniper" application does, why you should use one and how they work, read this ---► https://andrewminalto.com/best-ebay-snipers/

The only downside I know of, is you have to give the sniper application your eBay user name and password for it to do it's job. That will make some people run backwards, screaming at the top of their lungs "OH HELL NO". I've been using "Gixen" for a few years and have run into no problems with it. It works great and is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. I highly recommend it.

Edit: I forgot to mention there are two versions of Gixen. One has a few more frills and doodads and costs a flat rate of $6 per year. The other works just fine and is totally FREE. I choose to pay the $6 per year ONLY to support the product. For me, like a paid membership at AAPK, it's worth it.

Yea....I know all about the bidding process. I've been on ebay since 1999 and sell on ebay for a pawn shop. I just didn't drop enough down when I first bid. ::dang::
No worries. I'll keep watching your page until I see something else I like.

I took incoming fire this week all the way from Wisconsin, it was accurate fire too, hit me right in the mailbox!
I knew immediately it had to be a Marine, sure enough it came from 313 Mike. ::nod::

Not only was Mike on target but he also sent four awesome rounds right in the bull’s-eye.
1 – U.S. Army engineers knife - Very nice bone, and I probably have a master blade that will fit it.
2 – A cool composite knife with an LF & C sheets blade and a pen blade with the tang stamp WINSTED/KNIFE CO./WINSTED
3 – A Schatt and Morgan whittler with one broken blade but lots of life left in the other two blades. This one’s definitely getting some pocket time after a little tune-up.
4 – Schrade Cut Co Barlow with peach seed bone. Pretty sure I got a blade for this one! ::drool::

Thank you Mike, all of these knives have beautiful bone handles and at least two will see some EDC time! ::tu::
Thank you sir, I am honored!
