Buck 117 Small Special. Been in Charlotte all week, this was waiting when I returned home; a custom run by Copper & Clad in MO. OH

I like that, is it a new model?

Ken, it is a limited run model, first introduced by Buck as the 117 "Baby Brahma" about a year and a half to two years ago (blackened stainless steel, leather handles, tactical style pommel, guard, and sheath) about a year and a half ago. Copper & Clad ordered a short run of the 117 in this sporting style using the traditional 100 series black phenolic handle, bright stainless steel blade, and aluminum guard/pommel. They also had a few made with cocobolo handles and brass guard/pommel. Not sure how short the run actually was, but not a Buck standard or custom item. Plenty on ebay in all three variations right now; when C&C drops them they are gone. I thought it would be a good waterfowl knife, bigger than the Buck 102 I use now (with it's tiny handle) but much smaller than the bigger Buck 119 (which for me is too much knife for waterfowl). OH

Ps Here it is between the big 119 and the tiny 102.

And here's another that just came in, I'm thrilled with this Beretta also!

M100 cracked ice. 1905-1920. Let me know what ya think. I like it, I love it, I want some more of’em. If I am wrong on the pattern let me know. The back of the blade tang says Pat Apld For.

Ed I think it might be a B100 imitation onoyx. Very nice knife! Great find!

Thanks Kevin. I appreciate your post. I need all the help I can get. Lol I posted my knife over in new Case pick ups and Jerry came to my rescue over there. He told me the pattern is p100. I am not very knowledgeable at much but I know what I like. It is such a blessing to have all the cumulative knowledge here at AAPK at our fingertips. I have learned a great deal while I have been a member. Kudos to everyone who tries to help someone else out. Kevin thank you my friend.

I didn't get these in the mail but I did pick them up at the Gateway Area Knife Show today.

Schatt & Morgan #43 Jumbo Half Whittler in Red Elk and 420HC.

Custom knife maker Mike Alsdorf was there and since I didn't have enough funds for one of his knives, I bought this pendant from him that he made. Thought my wife might like something pretty.

Also got this cedar box.

Glad you like the Budk 117 Ken. I have carried mine once for Bass Fishing (a week ago), but didn't put it to work. Nice Beretta folder you got there too! OH

Went on a Colonial shopping spree and I'm not finished yet. These 5 for now.
I sold off almost all of my Colonials 3 years ago and after some time, regretted it.
So.....the only thing I could do was to buy more.

Very strong springs. Half stops X two.
