This was in my stocking. I requested it but didn't really think I would get it. Looks much better in hand than it does in the pictures.
That's a nice one Jerry. It seems that the acrylic handled knives don't get a lot of love on the forums., but they are some of my favorites. Nice contrast between the black and the yellow on that one.

Here’s one of my latest, a GEC model 13 whittler. This is my first split-back and first whittler for that matter. I missed these when they first came out, so when I found a dealer that still had one I jumped on it. Very happy with it, just a nice knife all around and I haven’t been able to find anything wrong with it.

Tom, that is a slick motor scooter. You made a good choice right there.

Very nice knives gents! Paul that Case is very handsome, love the bone, shield, bolsters, classic looking. Jerry that 48 looks looks outasight! Reminds me of an old muscle car with a killer paint job, ya know the one that everyone is gathered around ooohing and ahhhhing over...love it.
Tom, that GEC is a real looker, fine jigging and nice even coloring end to end.

Got this old Kutmaster Barlow today. I had intended to use it as a ferro rod striker in my fire starter kit but now I'm stewing on other things.

Queen large toothpick - it's BIG (see compared to a barlow). I'm extremely picky - fit and finish is darn near perfect (blade perfectly centered & hard snap). I never had a really good fillet knife - think this will fit the bill nicely & put some fish taco's on the table:

Hey Biggie 'H', I have one of those. I keep it layin' here on my desk. I think it's slicker'n snot on a door knob. I've had it on my watch list for quite a while, trying to decide whether or not to buy two or three more to have on hand to give away.

Bdev,

The bone on that jack does look good. Perhaps the broken blade could be reprofiled into a sheepsfoot?

Lansky1,

What's the handle material on your toothpick?

That Beretta Electra ~Q~ talked me into came in yesterday. It had some mung on the blade but it cleaned right up with a lead pencil.

Here are a couple of my latest acquisitions. I was on evilbay and noticed this “1984 Case trapper” for sale. Buy it now for $30+$5 shipping. Well I couldn’t wait to get my 1973/1984 trapper in. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. When I get it cleaned up I will take a couple more pictures. The Remington Scout knife RS4783 well I saw it and thought I want to bring that back to its previous glory. So look for new pictures of it also. I got it for a song well at least I thought so. Here are some pictures. ::tu::

Possibly. It wouldn't surprise me.

I like it. Probably because of the blade but for an old electronics type of guy, the PCB handles are an added plus.
