just wondering what your opinions are on these 4 german makers current production:
boker
hen & rooster
henckels
bulldog
if you could rank them it would be great, i currently only have a henckels and a hen & rooster and upon my initial playing around with them my feeling is that the H&R is fit and finished better than the henckel. i do have 3 bulldogs on the way from ebay and am just wondering what i should expect compared to the 2 pieces i already have. i would also like to add some bokers in the future, thus the reasoning for my question. tia

No one is ignoring this quesiton, it is just such a subjective one to answer. We all have our opinions, including some on those knives. Only way for you to find the answer is to use them. You cannot go by what is most 'collectible' as that will change, sometimes from year to year. Quality is not static either, changing with economic circumstances and ownership of the brand name.
