While waiting for my Benchmade Mini Griptilian, I thought I'd investigate Spyderco, although I never liked the hole.
Little did I know what treasures lay in store for me, because Spyderco is a treasure store of steels, patterns, locks (including a magnetic lock) and other designs and functions which are put together with one thing in mind, USABILITY.
Spyderco is a superb example of Form following Function.
Hats off to the fellow behind Spyderco, whoever he is.
I hope Mitch doesn't mind me railroading his Benchmade thread, but he's the one who set me off on my new tactical obsession/quest.
Of course I'm fishing again for opinions on Spyderco, but I think I've narrowed it down to their Military, Manix, or Mini Manix.
Sorry for sounding like I just discovered the wheel but that's how we newbies are.
BTW the top Cold Steel knife looks like a good version of the Spanish Navaja.
As for El Lobo's two, I just can't figure out if his is the BIG, STRONG, TOUGH, IN-YOUR-FACE, DON'T-MESS-WITH-ME one, or the cute little one at the back.
