Just finished these two knives

Post by #goldpan »

I recently finished these two knives for Eye Brand Man. A Schrade English jack and a Case Folding Hunter. The picture highlight the process of rehandling both knives from start to finish. There are more picture than one post will allow so this is a multi part post!

I rally enjoyed doing these! The Case and the stag was a good match! But the English Jack and its new amber jigged bone really got my attention, both are beautiful knives!

The pictures don't show all of the details. The Case has some small marks on the bolsters as I could not remove them all with removing too much metal, but all in all I think they came rather nice! As did the Schrade! These will be the last folding knife repairs for awhile do to health issues. I plan on slowly working on a few for my store and some for me. And stay tuned for a future project that I think folks are going to like!

Wow Randy those look very nice!! Tight fit on the handle/bolster areas. I love those sequential photos, it really shows how much work goes into doing a job like that. I'm going to guess that Stag is a bit more difficult to work with than Bone, but both knives turned out very well.

The owner is going like those very much!! ::nod:: Nice job Randy!! ::tu::

Ginger or Mary Ann... How can anyone decide?

They are both stunning in their own ways. VERY nice, clean workmanship!
I think that both handle choices were appropriate to the knives.
