Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I've run onto them while scrolling through eBay. At this point, I'm just not sure how I feel about them. ::shrug::

I think they would work petty nicely in a display - add one to the center of a display of older Case. OH

Thanks Jerry! The pearl has some really beautiful pink and green refraction in it. Wish I could capture it.

Just got this a 6347 WH natural bone presidents knife. Its a flea bay purchase that I thought was a very reasonable price compared to other examples I've seen listed for this same knife. I have very limited knowledge of Case and collectable knives so would welcome any input regarding this one from some of the Case experts. Is it legit and have any value as a collector knife? It's in great condition with only some very fine bolster scratching, smooth fit and finish, no blade rub and smooth action and decent snap. Serial #133.
Thanks in advance for any input, I'll be gone rest of the day but will check back later to respond.

Every now and then you see one that makes your heart skip a beat and you just know you've gotta have it no matter what. That's the feeling I got when I spotted this sweet 1996 Wormgroove Jigged Amber Bone Copperhead 6249 CV.

As a collector, I'm not a huge fan of the CV steel because of it's tendency to spot & rust in the salty, humid climate where I live; but, fortunately I keep plenty of Ren Wax and Sac-Ups on hand for just such Cases (and all my Northwoods and GECs with 1095 steel as well).

Too many nice knives... Tooo mannyyyyy

Can I ask about Dr.Magoo's knife?
First what is that pattern called? Is it a Bar Tenders Knife?, and second, is that a vintage knife? 1920 ish?

It's a box ticker for me. That's why I ask. ::nod::

It is a Bar Tenders or Sommeliers knife on a gunstock frame; but, it looks to be a 2002 - 2004 vintage based on the date stamp on the master spear blade tang.

Thank you Q!
I don't know how you can see the stamp. I'm on a 60" Plasma, and all I see is a vague shadow.

I'm going to have to keep my tired ole eyes peeled for one of those knives. Hope I don't trip on one, and break a hip...

Nice looking Copperhead Q, cool handles, what's not to like? ::tu::

I picked up this 30's-40's fixed blade Model 63-5 Hunter model with greenbone scales at a local gunshow today. I've attached some pics. The chrome plated blade is somewhat scratched up but nearly full or better. The scales are tight and not cracked. Came with the original sheath. Very pleased to have it. Any input is appreciated, of course.

Very nice Steve. Beautiful knife.

Don’t know much about Case fixed blades so I cannot help.
