Hey guys after bugging alot of you with questions. I tried 3 or 4 boxes.
I think i found a happy medium. Comments, tips and critiques welcome.

Nice detail, needs to be clearer on the tang stamp though and loose the shadows by repositioning the lights or tilting the knife.

I am far from an expert, but I did have an expert teach me. Mark from KW. Keep up the great work

Thanks guys! It's a learning process, trial and error. I started out with a cardboard box, bought a 40 dollar lightbox with tent, lights and mini tripod.

I've ended up with a 3 dollar white styrofoam cooler with a hole cut in the top with a 23w 3600k color florescent bulb pointing straight down. Camera set on auto, flash off. Just move the knife around and snap a lot of pics.

David I'm having trouble on my tang shots. If i zoom my camera blurs. If i get too close i get reflections of camera, tripod etc. plus my camera doesnt have a macro setting, so its still trial and error.
