If there were a "like" button, you lazy bums would never post.

I was one who used to think I wanted a "Like" button.
As a member of a forum that does have the LIKE button feature, I have discovered there are some people who hit that LIKE button EVERY SINGLE POST. In my opinion, that takes the legitimacy, or sincerity, if you will, out of the LIKE response.
If I feel a post warrants a LIKE, and not just for the sake of a LIKE, I will respond to the post.

Ahh but sometimes you like it but just don't know what to say or have anything to add. ::shrug:: Then sometimes you don't care for it or don't know anything about it and it's better to just say nothing at all which has nothing at all to do with this conversation. ::facepalm::

I hope you're not offended by all the fooling around. Even though yours was a serious question, I hope you appreciate the comic relief it has sparked. Amongst all this tomfoolery there are a couple of nuggets of serious response to your initial post.
