Camillus USMC folder

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus USMC folder

Post by Mountainwind »

I don't have a picture at the moment, but for those of you who know....
I think there were 1000(?) of these made with the leftover promaster tanto blades. Was this just the serrated blades in the 1000? Or did this include all leftover blades.
I have now found one serrated, two non-serrated and one with a serrated 892 clip blade.
I am wonderin if there are a lot more out there, or if I only have 996 left to go.
By the way, this is a great knife, and whoever thought up this use for the blades, had a great idea.

Interesting e-mail with Darrel today.

His site is

I put a link onto my site to him as well.
Lots of his knives are military bound.
Have a look see..
