WW1 period German 'Knicker'
WW1 period German 'Knicker'
This small stag handled Knife was bought back from the trenches in WW1, by one of my Great Uncles. It's the type of blade preferred by German troops as a small utility knife, not specifically for combat use. Apparently, they were known as 'Knickers'. 8 1/2" overall, with a 4" blade.

I really like your jagdmesser, if for no other reason than that is an authentic example of a German side knife which was NOT made for the tourist trade. Classic and very cool!
