Photo of Case XX tested leg knife.Any info or where to find info on this knife would be greatly appreciated.

Wow can you get even a closer picture of it and one not so blurry. I have heard of a boot or shoe knife but never seen a picture. do you know the brand.. Is there any markings on the blade close to the handle,TANG?

I have it in my old Sargents 3rd edition"1992".
R297 candy stripe 1920-40 Tested XX in mint condition $350.
This is an old book,I would think the value has definitely risen..I would guess around $450-500..

In my 6th. edition (2004), it has it at $500.00

parker's latest (2007) shows mint at $450. lower in the real world imo. less than mint will command a much lower price.

Before you get the poor fella to excited,

realize that this one is far from mint.

One sharpening reduces the price in half.

Other factors reduce it further.

From what I can see, it looks like a $100 knife,

but until we have better photos,

I won't change me opinion.

Just trying to be realistic.

PA, We agree, the prices given are for Mint and judging by the photos of this piece the condition is far from mint, there are so many factory that go into determining condition I will just say it definitely is not mint.

Realistic value (from what we see in the current photos) this is a $65 to $100 piece, depending on the

“gotta have”

factor for those interested in aquiring it.

A real nice addition to any collection.
