Need more info on Parker Edwards Knife

I'm trying to get more information on my Parker Edwards Knife, but just can't seem to find anything about it myself. I do plan on selling it soon, so the value and anything else anyone could tell me would be much appreciated. [Images keep uploading upside down for some reason. Parker Edwards knives were made from 1984 to 1986. They never quite caught on with collectors so value is not great, minimal even. Nothing really wrong with the knife, just not in demand.

There is a little bit of historical significance.
I'm doing this from memory and this is a bit out of my wheelhouse so if someone else has the correct information please feel free to step in, I won't be offended.
I believe Jim Parker & Fain Edwards started the knife factory in Alabama in 1984. Jim Parker bought out Fain Edwards in 1986. Parker started the factory to make Damascus blades. In 1990 Parker's assets were liquidated and in 1991 the company was purchased by Ken Griffey (not the ballplayer) who had worked at the factory for Parker. It became Bear MGC , and went through a reorganization or two and finally became the Bear and Sons Cutlery that we know today.

Unfortunately I agree with Ray, there is not a great deal of collectible value to that knife, although most knives made at that factory had Damascus blades, the fact that this knife does not may make it more collectible. If it works good and is in near mint condition I would guesstimate it's probably worth $35-$50.

I hope this helps. If anyone else has additional or even conflicting information to this I would be happy to know it. I dug up this little information when I listed a stag handled Parker Edwards knife in my store. There was not a great deal of information I could find, and I even have Parker's book "Knife Collectors Encyclopedia" which didn't mention Parker-Edwards.

In addition to being a brand with no following, it is a very plain knife: wood handles, no bolsters. If it sells for $20 or more you can consider yourself lucky. Selling price on ebay has little to do with quality of the knife. It's all about how many people want it.

The fact that it's made in USA is a selling point that should be emphasized in the listing title IMO as that aspect will garner more interest (views/bids) than anything else about the knife. Also the Lock Back feature. Just a few suggestions.

Sometimes an otherwise unremarkable knife will fetch a surprisingly high sale price if it gets seen by just the right niche demographic. I'm sure there are plenty of knife collectors in Alabama who would pay a bit extra for this knife if only you can find a way to get it in front of their eyes. (Maybe put "Crimson Tide" in the title as clickbait?)

I agree completely with excellent advice above. Anything can happen on ebay. Sometimes a very ordinary knife like this o.p. one will get bid up to a ridiculously high price. And at other times a rather special collectible knife will sell at 1/5th or less it's usual price.
Even though i say this Parker Edwards is not worth much, by all means list it and you might be one of the lucky sellers who score big unexpectedly.
