The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Yes, indeed, nice mini Ts, jerryd. I especially like the marine corps emblem stamped on the bolster of your blue 07. I'm not usually a big fan of extra cosmetic embellishment, but that's a nice touch; very classy.

Thank you ~Q~. The nice part of it is it's stamped and not etched. Fairly deeply stamped at that. That was a pleasant surprise.

That's just funny!!! John
Oh, you mean like "pre-ripped" designer jeans? Which, BTW, I've actually seen for sale for hundreds of dollars (complete with dirt, grass and greasy oil stains...blood stains cost extra!). Now that is funny...and also very sad.

Glass houses, jerryd...I'm just the same as you...I carry one knife (Kershaw Chill) and never change my EDC...I even have a brand new Chill still in the hard plastic clamshell for when my current EDC Chill eventually wears out. I'm about as cantankerous a curmudgeon as they come, my friend. "Pocket worn" is what my 35 year old jeans are that I still wear every day.

Thanks ~Q~. It's on my watch list. Probably not though because it's a single blade and I'm more of a two blade guy and I don't see me paying big bucks (to me) for a single blade. Good looking knife though.

Fine looking Orvis/Case got "JerryD" written all over it!
Got a few variation of the 07 pattern - the jackknife has some pocket time but I'm not much of a Trapper fan. What I do like the most about the modern Case 6207 is the Clip main blade - to me it is the best looking Clip on any medium size pocketknife. OH

This one is incredibly slick and sharp also. The cap lifter is incredibly handy for many tasks also. Thank you for the information. I'll have to look into it. Still trying to figure out how to post pictures from other photo hosting sights also since Photobucket is no longer usable.

The [/img] feature used to post pictures from photo hosting sights such as Photobucket was disabled over a year ago by the owner of AAPK. He (Bryan) wants all pictures to be uploaded and stored on AAPK so they will show up in posts for as long as AAPK still exists. His intent is that AAPK be a research source and it can't fulfill that role completely if photo storage sites go away or change policies or accounts are no longer active and the images are no longer available as we're seeing happen now with Photobucket.
Currently the only available way to post pictures is to upload them directly to AAPK. We have been assured there is plenty of storage space on AAPK for images.

Having completed my 107W collection, I am now working on increasing my 207W pile (which should keep me well occupied for a long time since Case has released so many variations).
This 2012 antique sawcut bone is my most recent acquisition.
