DD Selling Bulldog

Post by Hukk »

DD selling a Bulldog But it is not a new knife and it's not over 6 inches.

http://cgi.ebay.com/GENUINE-MASTODON-BA ... dZViewItem

This is a standing dog so it is either a 1998 or a 2000 knife, NOT an Old knife. It is also 5.25 inches long closed, not over 6. IMO, it's only worth $100 at most because of the long crack down the pile side scale and I don't know how stable it is. If it is stable, then it's just a beauty mark but looks like he is trying to hide it.

The year is on the tang with the standing dog but his pictures won't let you see it.

This is a new venture for him!

I checked his new eBay name "caseclassicjohn" and he has purchased several Bulldogs using that name. He will no doubt do the same with the Dogs as he done with the Classics, lie, cheat, and steal!

I saw where he bought this one and the old auction states that the knife is a 2000 and is 5.25 inches long. SO, IMO since he bought it on December 25, 2007 old DD is flat out lying. ::huff:: Just my opinion! ::td:: ::td::

Already on my block bidders list. If ever I sell some of the Bulldogs I have, certain ones will go to someone who will appreciate them and I would rather sell for what I got them than to have a DD get them. Yes he is on the list under that name also. ::tu:: ::tu:: There are others that I don't care so much about, they would go on Da Bay!

I got a prototype in better shape for $130.00. With Mastodon Ivory. Take a peek. It does have a lot of charactor. I got it for that price because of the cracks I guess. Since I know the cracks to be stable and I do know the previous owner, I bought it.

Since I know the cracks are stable, it is charactor to me. ::tu:: ::tu::

Well he has added another Bulldog Anglo-Saxon with Pearl Handles, New Orleans Knife etch, paid to much IMO for the Pearl. I think I want to watch them. Heres the Mastodon Ivory:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GENUINE-MASTODON-BA ... dZViewItem

PAID $131.38

From what I can see the bolsters might have drawer scratching on the Pearl.
Here's the Pearl:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GENUINE-CLASSIC-MOT ... dZViewItem

PAID $161.49
