USA Schrade 152OT? Sharp Finger with Yellow Delrin Handle

My inquiry mind has searched high and low

to determine when / what years Schrade produced the Old Timer 152OT? Sharp Finger 7 1/4" with the Yellow Delrin Handle. Does anyone know these dates and what significances if any the yellow handles had?

Do you mean the pale yellow/scrimshaw colored handles? Plenty of those around since the closing of Schrade, being left over from the factory. Extras and spares that were never scrimshawed (actually, the scrim was hot pressed on). Earliest record of sharpfinger scrims I can find is 1976, but they seemed to be made right up to the end. Tang stamping on most is 502 I think.

Do you mean the 152 with the lemon yellow handle and the Old Timer shield.If so I was told these were made for SMKW as an SFO.Not many made.Arnold

tobyrogers, you hit the nail on the head. It's lemon yellow in color, not the Ivory scrimshaw and it does have the old timer shield. Just like the pic in your reply. Thanks for the info.

If I'm not mistaken, Smokey Mtn Knifeworks also offered the same knife handled in hunter orange back in 96-98.

Here are a couple other variations of the 152.
There is the 152UH with the staglon & the one in the middle with the jigged Delrin handle, as well as the standard Old Timer Sharpfinger in the bottom of the picture.

It is a pattern that I like to play with and apparently Schrade liked to play with it as well, judging by the number of different handles they put on it.

The other picture is three Sharpfingers I have customized.
The first has Kingwood with finger grooves I cut into the handle.
The second has Bokote wood and finger grooves.
The third has jigged water buffalo horn handles.

The Sharpfinger is a great pattern and I am sure it will be around for many years to come in some form or another.

Nice custom work and the 152 with the Schrade jigged handles is one you don't see that often.
