Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

That one's a beauty, for sure. Looks a lot like an English Jack (Schatt & Morgan)...but I don't know if Case ever used that name for that pattern.

It's bone Jerry. Sweet grooved handles. Imo

Thanks Q. English jack is what I thought too. But when I think English jack I think of a little bigger knife?

Keith, I'm checking my Sargents here and if that knife is 3 5/16 closed it looks like a 5212and of course if that's grooved bone a 6212.
I see others have chimed in ,I'm slow on the draw.

Or at 3 5/8 could be a 5223. I would go with that since it doubles the value. :D

I think it's either a 12 or a 22. The 12 looks equal end to me. The 22 looks to be tapered which is what mine is.

Well I didn't notice that you had posted the length and you're right the only one I see is the pearl 22 at 3 1/4. But if we look long enough and maybe glue a little something on one end we may be able to turn that into a $2000 knife. ::nod::

Although these two are not worth $2000, they are priceless to me for completing my Case 107W collection.

Still wondering why the red delrin w/stars & stripes shield does NOT have a 'W' in the pattern number. Can anyone explain that, please?

64047P with a few dots

And a synthetic white tiny trapper, synthetic white are really the only modern case I collect, my first case knife was the white stockman, my wife purchases it for me for Christmas 3 years ago. I thought I had the entire set but found this tiny trapper floating on eBay. I guess there is a baby doc as well..

Jdub,
That's a fine looking knife! Is that one a '65-'69 or a 70 series? Couldn't see if there are any dots.

Gorgeous stag on that Congress!

Have you guys seen this one?

The knife bug bit and I picked one up. As nice as a Tony Bose in my opinion, at a fraction of the price.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
