Military? Aerial Mfg. Co.

Post by Another Knife Collector »

Can anyone tell me anything about this knife, it is stamped

AERIAL
CUT. MFG. CO.
MARINETTE WIS.

Definately seems to be military, does anyone know what era it's from, if it was issued and what group it was issued to, or if it was a personal purchase? I haven't been able to find anything about it. Sorry about the bad picture, I'll post better ones tomorrow. Thank you. :)

How about some measurements, especially length of blade?
It is very similar to CASE WW2 Double edged dagger found in Levine's 4th edition page 449.
You have a nice knife for sure.
Would someone post a photo of the more common M-3 for comparison?
