Supporting Membership
What a great idea ! I am pleased to contribute these modest fees to AAPK. I get a great deal of enjoyment from this fine forum and i actually feel better now that i have the opportunity to give a little back.
Is today the first day of offering these memberships ?
kj
edit to add: after buying a Gold membership i am unable to post an item for sale in "Advertisements". There is no button for "New Topic".
What do i need to do ?

I probably messed this up when tweaking some settings. I just rearranged a few things. Can you see if the "new topic" button is there now?kootenay joe wrote: edit to add: after buying a Gold membership i am unable to post an item for sale in "Advertisements". There is no button for "New Topic".

If still not working, I'll probably have to address this further tomorrow with a clearer focus. been programming & doing some configuration stuff for like 15 hrs today. The last couple may have caused more harm than good.

Hello Bryan,
I really appreciate the forum and all you do and would be honored to buy a gold membership.
However, maybe I am an old school, siimple man but I don't do papypal, never have.
Is there another possible form of payment?
Thanks and Regards, Jerry

Great idea Bryan! Even though I probably won't use many of the upgrade features, I get so much enjoyment hanging out here on AAPK, that I'm glad to make a meager contribution. Worth every cent!

I just posted a 'New Topic' in "Advertisements" so the 'issue' has been solved. Thanks Bryan.

I'm in the same boat as Jerry. I don't do PayPal, but I would like to do my part supporting aapk by purchasing a gold membership. I just need another way to pay. Money order, maybe?zp4ja wrote:Hello Bryan,

Once you click the button to join your chosen level there is an option to pay using PayPal or a credit card.edge213 wrote:I'm in the same boat as Jerry. I don't see the credit card option. Re: Supporting Membership
Sea orry David I wasn't clear about that. After you click the sign up button on the next screen there is a button that says pay now with click that button and the paypal log in screen comes up. Below the login box is a button that says pay with debit or credit card click that and see what you get.edge213 wrote:I don't see the credit card option. Re: Supporting Membership
This is the credit card option. It's a one shot deal, paying through PayPal. You are transferring funds from your credit card to Bryan's PayPal account. You are not setting up a PayPal account.edge213 wrote:I don't see the credit card option. Hi Jerry,

Thanks much for the quick adjustment to the payment options! And I I said, all the rest you do for the forum. Now that I see that credit card is an option, I will do that this year and use the MO or personal check option moving forward.
I know that a website like this great forum is not an inexpensive venture to fund with server costs, upgrades, additional storage, security, maintenance, etc. That is prior to your long hours behind the scenes to keep the wheels greased.
I appreciate all you do and glad to help out with an optional membership fee. Least I can do. I have met many friends here and learned so much.
Thanks and Regards, Jerry
