Vintage Buck Kitchen Cutlery Set

Here's something you don't see too often, a set of Buck MOD'ERNE kitchen knives, acquired from a Buck representative by my father twenty years ago. The picture is deceiving and the handles are actually brown. Does anyone know anything about these? With the fast growing group of Buck collectors does this set have any value, and if so does anyone have a guess as to how much? Even if they not valuable, they're an interesting piece of Buck's history with their venture into kitchen cutlery. Thank you.
