It's called Autumn and it seems to have a range of shades. I have three knives with Autumn bone handles and they are all a bit different.

Very nice Charlie. I like the looks of both your most recent ones.

Here's a Queen canoe I picked up at the Blade Show this past weekend.

Some nice stag on that Queen Phil. What does the blade etch say? Can't read it because of the flash.

Thanks. The stag is what reeled me in. The etch says "NOCCALLULU KNIFE COLLECTORS 1979"

I know, it's pretty plain and straight forward. They could have called it Frog Pond Green or maybe Lucky Irish Green...or something like that. ::shrug::

Thanks Phil. It's the latest stag from CASE. They are only making 500 of each pattern and I'm told there are 16 patterns. I think the lined bolsters are a nice touch too.

Thanks BH! With the on and off embargo of Indian Sambar stag, I try to snag any new stag that is offered. As I understand it the Indian government has lifted the embargo on Sambar stag that was already collected and kept in storage during the ban. That's why we're seeing some new stuff. CASE's supply of Sambar stag had dwindled to almost nothing. As to collecting new supplies of antler... ::shrug::...we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime I try to acquire any CASE canoes with stag handles that I'm able to. Of course my wallet has a loud voice in that decision making process! ::rotflol::
