Sleeveboard or Sunfish? Do I have this wrong?

Help me out here guys. Do I have this knife listed wrong for the pattern? It thought it was a type of sunfish but in the patterns on AAPK it says sleeveboard.

It is a Case 1989 62070 NKCA knife - picture posted a couple posts down

Hi Sandie,

Canal Street calls theirs a Wildcat Driller. It sure doesn't look like a Sunfish to me. Typically Sunfish/Toenails are equal size on either end.

I've mostly seen it called a jumbo sleeveboard to distinguish it from the more common smaller sleevebard patterns.

The name makes sense since it has that huge blade. You frequently see these as whittlers in which case they are generally called jumbo whittlers or jumbo sleeveboard whittlers.

Shoot, don't feel bad Sandie, look under the CASE CLASSIC header on E-bay and you can see alot of people call them Sunfish/Toenails too.

As for me, I didn't know they were called anything else either. That's why I like this site, I learn something new everyday.
