My oldest 6347 is from 1982, it has two springs. The rest of my 6347's are newer and have three springs. I don't know when they changed.philco wrote:ludwig26 wrote: I never noticed the 6347 had 3 back springs.

Kerry, Steve and I have been discussing the back springs on the 6347s. I've got a few from back in the 70s that only have two back springs. I recently picked up a more modern amber bone 47 and discovered it had the three springs instead of the two I was expecting. Does anyone know when Case went from two to three springs on these 47 stockman knives ?
