I owe Jerry a picture of my new Fighting Bull jumbo trapper. This was built by Wendell Carson. Both blades are stamped front and back. Fighting Bull in a circle on the front. Crossed tomahawks with Carson over center on back.

While Miss Joy was doing her physical therapy this mornin', I ran a few errands and had a few minutes to check out the local antique store. I looked around and didn't see much that interested me and the owner asked, "Did I show you the knives last time?" I said no and he says, "Here's one", and laid out a 3207 CV, then he dug into a file cabinet a drug out a about a dozen knives. I made an offer on four, he said, almost, then I countered with, "Throw in the Uncle Henry, that's been neglected and abused." He grinned, I'm pleased! Then he said, "You got all the good ones!"

For some reason cattle knives are all that I would expect to find in Lubbock! Very nice haul there.

There was one I really liked but I didn't have any knowledge on it. It has steer heads for bolsters and also had cattle knife acid etched/stamped in the blade. Like a moron I can't remember who made it. I thought it was pretty cool.

No it wasn't Phil. It's driving me crazy I can't remember. I'm not old enough to have these problems.

NICE! I have a newer schatt 4" stockman that was copied from an old one out of a catalog, I think yours is the one they copied. They sure didn't get the same fabulous bone though

Today's finds at a local antique mall for a grand total of 26.00 for all three .
Seen lots of great knives today but they all seemed to be triple the retail price
