I was scouring through my knife pics the other day and realized that I had a couple harness jacks that somehow have avoided my camera (must be shy?). So here are a few I never had the chance to show the world..

These are harness jacks in Redbone, Stag, Greenbone & Ebony...

Fantastic looking pieces my friend, I especially like the 1 of 2 tortoise shell knife, it looks like it wants to come and visit my knives. I'll go ahead and send you my address just in case you want to mail that bad boy to me...

Hey Singin I know what you mean, my 2 candy stripes from the 2nd and 3rd series both gassed out no matter what I did (that was the end of me owning any celluloids). Matter of fact Muskrat Man's handiwork now adorns one of those with Warthog Ivory...

Ok, ok...So you probably feel bad to send me something that is gassing out on ya!!! I totally understand and appreciate your concern, so go ahead and send me the 1 of 1 Buffalon Horn to come see his other 1 of 1 brothers abalone & tiger coral, they miss him

Perry, don't laugh but, I read the other day somewhere on the web that putting a cell. handled knife where it's cold, like a freezer will slow down the gassing quite a bit. It went on to say that this did not stop it completely and it would resume once the handles were brought back to regular temps. It also said that heat was the biggest factor in cell. handles gassing fast or slow. I don't know if it's true or not

but I would like to know for sure. One of the guys involved with these statements had a bunch of letters after his name. I just wonder if the letters following his name should have been BS

GREAT Pix's Guy's,
That is the 1st time I've seen the Tortiose scale from the 3rd series. Thanks for showing that 1 Singin.
I've been lucky with the Candy stripe from the 3rd series so far. Got him sitting on the dresser, by his lonesome, out of the box where I can keep an eye on him. No problems yet.
This pattern has really been a hit in my neck of the woods. You should see these cowboy's faces when they see a quality slipjoint with a leather punch. In this day of Spydies & Taticakool knives these old boys really love the retro look & pocket friendly feel.
At just 1 branding last year I gave away 3 HJ's from the 1st series. I bet I've given away a dozen of this pattern, these boys love um.
I'm trying to find a couple of the 2nd series with that needle sharp punch for a couple local saddlemakers. I don't figure that that punch would lend it's self to the working cowhand. But a guy working in leather all the time would appreciate it.

I THINK ITS GREAT THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN SOME AWAY, THAT'S A GOOD KNIFER TO ME. IT'S IN THE KNIFER'S HANDBOOK OR AT LEAST MINE.

NOW IF SUNBURST WOULD QUIT PLAYIN THESE GAMES AND SEND ME MY GIFT FOR THIS YEAR HE WOULD BE OFF THE HOOK FOR 12 MONTHS.

Actually the 1st Series of Waynorth's HJ's are quite easy to come by. It's the 2nd Series that I'm having trouble with.

The first series, which I produced with Clarence Risner, was just under 400 knives. Way less for the next two (2nd & 3rd) which I did myself. I'll look up the numbers, and post them.
I'm going to do a 4th this year, so let me know what you are looking for, (except for celluloid

)!

I had 109 of the second series, and 204 of the third series made. The second series was the hottest and rarest. Everyone likes that standard jack!
The third series has the best punch, IMO!

I was thinking about a couple in Pre-ban ivory, Tiger Coral, Abalone, Stag, Pearl, Worm Groove, rough jigged bone or mastadon but I realize all these choices are over the top...So anything close to the three examples in a Harness Jack would be extraordinary...I agree with Singin that a true vintage look is always exceptional...Oh yes 1095 carbon or D2 is a must...
