Tony, that's a real clean looking post-1976 long line. (1976 was the last year they pinned the handles on.) Feels good to get one in factory condition and from the sellers picture, it looks like that one is.

Due to arrive today 'Out for Delivery' I was lucky enough to win the bid on this very cool old SF knife. Since I now live in this old city -
I was attracted to this old knife. Looking forward to seeing how it really is.

Sellers pics and description:

ANTIQUE JS HOLLER & CO SAN FRANCISCO POCKET KNIFE - 3 3/8" closed. Used, sharpened condition. Vintage 1867 to 1906. Nice horn handles with no cracks or chips. Shows signs of normal pocket wear. Has unusual serpentine shield. All blades stamped J.S. HOLLER & CO A BLAICH SAN FRANCISCO on front and RAZOR STEEL GERMANY with Arrow inside an Oval logo on back. Blades have good snap with no side to side play. This knife has been lightly cleaned by a previous owner. An unusual whittler well over 100 years old.

That's a real nice old knife. Very interesting.

My big ol Congress is at the house waiting for me! In other news, my mother-in-law is coming up tonight to spend he weekend with us. Oh well, at least I'll have something to occupy me and keep me out of the way!

Scored the winning bid on this peachseed S-W 895. It looks like original unadulterated finish, unused and unsharpened. Beautiful dark red peachseed.

Had a hair yesterday and ordered this SOG from 'over yonder' ....

$9.99/free ship ... ... or pay between $25 - 30 for the exact same thing state-side.
Just have wait a little longer to get it.

Tracking says this one is in Rockford, so should be delivered today.
Case XX 6207W Mini Trapper - Red Bone.jpg
This one only had to travel 100 miles (came from over by Joliet) but it's been wandering all over Northern Illinois for the past three days. Tracking says it left Oak Creek Wisconsin (the USPS feeder distribution center for Rockford) @ 4:23 AM this morning. Sooooo, shoulda, woulda, coulda, maybe it will get delivered today with the other one. ::shrug::

It's a slim trapper. 4 1/8". Pattern #24. I hope it's as good as it looks when I receive it. ::paranoid::

BTW....just saw that you ordered a few GEC's. Post some pics when you receive them. ::tu::
