These 2 Sears knives arrived today, and the J Russell & Co Green River Works was scored at an estate sale this morning.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Three new knives arrived today!
The jigged bone largest knife is Vintage Garland Cutlery. I love the brass 'bullseye' pins.
Also another beauty over 100 + years old! This is an Antique JS Holler & Co A Blaich, San Francisco - Horn Handle Whittler Pocket Knife
And last is this super clean little San Francisco souvenir pocket knife, made of aluminum plate by Bastian Bros., Rochester, NY, in 1915.
I was able to get some really great deals and talk the seller's down some.. Super finds!

Thank you. A little Mothers and a drop or two of Quick Release and it's even better. A pin crack at the mark side rocker pin is the only thing I can find wrong with it. Really satisfied with it and it fits right in to my small collection of medium jacks.DM11 wrote:Good bargain on that nice looking Ulster!jerryd6818 wrote:Looks to me like an old putty knife.![]()

This Catt is a little soft and tired in the joints, same as me, but I am liking it enough to keep picking it up every few minutes the last few days.

Nice knives gentlemen!
Check these out. Just got them. Cattaraugus 22219 and a Hibbard Spencer Bartlett Congress. These both have to be from the very early 1900s.
These two are why I collect. Beauties from the past that can still be used today
I think the Catt is going to become one of my favorites

Y'all look back up at Scott's unidentified scraper?. I see an etch on the blade and Green River is in the second line, does that help?

Scott, I may be wrong but I suspect the tool is a glaziers tool for putting the putty in the old windows. J1890 I love those two bones. Cal, that is one nice looking whittler. Bronze 4 u, That horn whittler is awesome and the other two are nice too. Jerry, good deal on that Ulster. In the mail today I got a car advertisement and a bill for medical supplemental insurance. Not as much fun as a knife but it could have been worse.____Dave

supratentorial, Good looking knife. Too me it looks sleek which I believe is due to the blade shape. There is no question that the Japanese know their way around steel. Congrats!
