I took a shot in the blur with this one  I'm quite certain it's peachseed bone and it has threaded bolsters, which was not common on the later delrin models so that's another good indication. Listed as a walden and blades look pretty good. Bone or not it should be good for the price of lunch with a tip.

I've already got a reservation in on the green bone but when I saw the photo of the bloodwood #48 I couldn't resist. So it's on the way...

Tony, I love, love, love that pattern. I wish I could afford to buy one of each handle material produced. Sigh.

I've got the bug for these Case Wharncliffe Mini-Trappers so one more is on it's way to live with me. It's a 2015 6.5 Bonestag.

Cuz I really like the looks of that knife. If I could get one in CV I'd be real tempted myself.

Jerry, I think you will like it. I gifted a freind with one and he loves it. By the way he has already cut himself twice. So it's sharp.

Jerry, stretching it to two knives (plus the Case tribal spears I reserved today, total impulse buy -- oh and the two 72s that arrived today ::facepalm:: ) was pushing it but that bloodwood just called to me. ::woot::

To compensate for my knife-varice, I have to say a firm "no" to the upcoming 66s and hope that GEC doesn't run any of my favorites 'til the new year. ::dang::

Got that exact knife sitting on the table in the living room. Love it, just wish it were CV. You, sir, have some fine taste in cutlery.

(Did I mention the two new #72s...)

I'm all set on 66s. I have a Serpentine Jack in Rotten Banana Bone and have decided that will hold me.

What's the matter with you, a perfect medium stockman and you don't want one? ::poke::

I put in a "sure" reservation for a tidioute jig bone 66, I will likely get a northfield jig bone too. There's also gonna be an ebony tidioute...better get 'em while I can.

The rotten banana bone was the only thing that could have flipped me on the 66. I know they haven't announced two of the bone styles yet but I'm rolling the dice it won't be RBB. I still want one, I just need to teach myself knife-discipline. ::disgust::
KnifeSlinger#81 wrote:What's the matter with you, a perfect medium stockman and you don't want one? ::poke::
I know, I know. The only saving grace this time was that it wasn't an equal-end pattern. I already put in reservations on the Big Jack and on my phone I thought the 66 was a cattle knife. When I realized it was serpentine, I decided to skip it. Got enough serpentine stockman knives to choke a whole field of steer. It'll be bittersweet to see everyone's lovely new knives, I know it, but them's the sacrifices of a middle-class knife addict! ::shrug::

Make sure you provide plenty of #66 porn when you get 'em, though. I can still live vicariously through AAPK.

With luck my #48 will ship Monday and I'll have it this week to help take the sting away...
