To straighten or Not to Straighten that is the ?

Post by lenny357 »

I have a CASE SS lock back that looks like someone used the tip to pri on something. Very small bend (1 mm of center). If I try to straighten it what should I use a brass hammer, pliers, etc. ::shrug::

try a brass hammer and lay the blade flat against a block of steel or an anvil and then lightly tap on the bend. Remember 3 light taps are better than 1 big smack.
