Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

That is a beauty Justin.

Hope life finds you well my friend!

Very nice 6380 ... question though ---> I have a white bone one that has really nice snap on all blades, one of my favorite knives & patterns. I have also had (and consequently sold) 2 others that have had terrible snap. Same approximate vintage for all. It's frustrating to me when I get an otherwise beautiful knife & it has lazy snap that I try everything to fix to no avail ... just seems to be no consistency - how's this new one of yours ?
pffffft that's not a knife ......... now THAT'S a knife !! Crocodile Dundee

It has great snap on all blades. From my experience with them, all of the ones from around 1974 back have decent snap. The newer ones late 70's and the few they did in 80's aren't so good.

Thanks Phillip! I still want to know if that cat ever catches that squirrel and if he does does he let him go right quick?

Greg,
We haven't seen the cat catch one yet. He tries so hard every mornin'. I wish I knew how to post a video from our Nikon camera. They, the cat and the squirrels, are hilarious to watch.

Wow, beautiful old Case knives fellas!

Here is my meager addition to the thread, certainly not in the class of those being posted as far as beauty goes, but I am glad to give it a new home amongst my growing family of 8 dots.
The humble 2137, only two years into the pattern's existence in the Case lineup.
