Darn yellow handles suck me in every time!
I picked this litle CAMCO this weekend at an antique mall for about what you pay for a rough rider or steel warrior.
Nothing fancy, it is a CAMCO after all, but it cried to me from the dispaly case where it was surrounded by chinese knives. It seemed my civic duty to rescue it from such surroundings
Don't let my poor photography fool you, it looks like it has never in a pocket.

WELL,
Tell me one thing please. When you refer to the lovely YELLOW knife why do you call it IT ?
Please show some respect to the lady of the sun and call her SHE....

Very nice life saving story thanks for the show. Just KEEP it up and save more sunshine girls ...
If you want to do a face tuck. Just with a clean rag and some Flitz metal polish the bolsters. Then WD 40 the hole knife and with an air compressor blow all the gunk out. Then Ren-Wax her. Keep her blades open and place here in a good dry and dark place. Hopefully only with your other CELL handed knives.
I am not your boss or your wife, but I am trying to help you cuz you are new here to AAPK and I can always enjoy one more knife friend.

Ken, I see the devotion you have to the color YELLOW. And quite frankly I'm moved to tears.
It's not often that one is so dedicated as yourself to a particular color on the pantone wheel of primary colors. I am completely dumbstruck by this fixation you have with this cheerful yet yielding color of the sun.
How's that for blather boys.

GEEES the things that come out of a YELLOW knife...
I just received this one today.
She is a Queens but she has some crows feet at her center eye on both sides.
Should I keep here like this or give her a face tuck ?

And how far do these handles need to be quarantined from other knives?

Look at the center pin, has a crack in the handle on both sides.
Hence crows feet...
or old ageing marks do to stress.
I am sure ones like your mother has from raising you.
how far do these handles need to be quarantined from other knives?
Well I do not know how you store your knives but if you place them in a SAFE I would get another SAFE.
If in a cardboard box 6 ' apart and in a closet then in a different room.
Let the breath some do not put them in a plastic bag.
