Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Late to the party. Great knife Larry as was the old Stockman. Congrats on those pickups. You have quite a collection going.

This knife ain't in the "tall cotton" with some of the recent postings, but is an uncommon knife. It's a Case Tested XX 61213 slim coke bottle pattern that is 5 3/8" long. Not sure what a knife like this was used for. Thanks for looking.

Great knife, ::tu:: Jerry , you don't see those very often. I have wondered, like you, what they were used for. Maybe for testing giant melons ::ds::

Some nice early knives posted here lately. Jerry the cotton doesn't get much taller than that slim coke.

Here are a couple I haven't posted before.

CASE BROS. Little Valley cigar jack with ebony handles and prop shield.3 5/8" closed.

Case Tested green bone 6288. Steel bolsters. Only the master bolster is pinched. Early Tested knife. 4 1/8" closed.

Goodness gracious! Outstanding knives men, thanks so much for sharing them! I am hesitant to post this modest contribution in the company of those fine pieces, but this is my latest, a 5 dot 1975 Muskrat. I think she's purty anyway.
