Nice groupings, Thaddeus!
I just so happen to have taken delivery on a yeller Case 3254 trapper in CV this week.
A fine hunk of steel!

Nice pairs. It might be the lighting but are the bottom stockmen and the middle trapper outgassing? The yellow 18 and 54 patterns.
Is that lighting or corrosion. An outgassing knife will destroy itself and others around it. Not fun.
Just trying to help.

I appreciate your concern.
I'd much prefer someone to see something & mention it rather than ignoring it!
I checked them over, look okay.

Nice looking Northwoods, Ivoryman. Now all you need is a mammoth ivory to complete the trifecta.
I loved the Beretta you sent me so much, I seem to have started yet another sub-collection within my wharncliffe collection. Great knives...high quality materials & construction.

Thank you Tony. Knowing some of the knives your collection holds, that is high praise indeed.

Wild Turkeys in Ebony & Ivory (actually it's smooth white bone...but it looks a lot like ivory).

Re: Matchng Pairs
So I was just comparing my two Case 6202 1/2s and found the 1975 is much bigger. Not as clear in pics as in your hand but the bolster is much wider and longer, the main blade a little bigger, the scale is different sized, and the whole knife thicker and heavier than the '65-69. The '65-69 is shorter over all too. Anyone ever seen this phenomenon before? Didn't know Case changed up their pattern specs between these two years but they obviously did, unless this is a fake. Any insight from anyone is welcome. Shocked me since I thought these two were identical but they are not.

They might not be identical but they sure are a handsome pair.

Re: Matchng Pairs
Ivoryman, Case does change the tooling from time to time on a pattern and there are sometimes subtle changes in the design the accompany the change. Here's a pair of 3318 stockman's that are a good example although the age spread is more significant than your example.
Ken
In both pictures the top knife is from 2012 and the bottom from 1971. You can see the basic pattern shape is unchanged. However looking from top down into the blade wells you can see the differences in construction. I have no idea how many changes Case made to this pattern during that 41 year span. The 2012 knife is actually a sturdier knife.Ken
