Neat looking pot. I used to use something similar when I camped a lot. If I went looking I might still have it. When you are outside and it is 33 degrees hot coffee is going to be good even if it is bad! Pretty cold (27 at 0645) when I got up. There is something special about a pot of coffee made over a fire at sunrise, but I settled for a pot made in my kitchen

Campfire coffee, I could use a cup of that! The brightest sky I ever saw was in the Syrian Desert, Milky Way brightly shining right overhead at night and it was cool then too, but never had a telescope. Ken, I was out shooting my Lithgow 303 Brit last week, what a wonderfully mild and accurate round to be powerful enough for most big game - nice balance of comfort & power, and accurate too for an old warhorse. OH

Scott, I think your design is excellent. In addition to a bumper sticker I think it would make a fine, banner, pennant, or poster.

Truly awesome creatures. Raptors of the night. Ran across some other night raptors that ate moths. Lesser Nighthawk as recall in Joshua Tree National Monument. Swooping headlights that attracted the moths.

Here's a critter that shows up in my back yard all the time. I've come to the conclusion that it is a Red Shouldered Hawk. There were actually two back there but I didn't see the second until he flew away. Our neighborhood is plum full of squirrels and rabbits, not to mention a little furry dog next door, that keeps them coming back. The pics are not very good but I think you get the idea.

My grandson grew up with the outdoor spirit. He got back Tuesday from a fishing trip to Montana. To put the fish in scale Brandon is 6' 5" and about 280 or so. The rainbow trout was 32" long.

I would take a fish like this any day!

OH, that 303 British is a beautiful rifle. I like the strap from the trigger guard under the bolt. Very nice.

I took this picture of this hawk on the Spokane River a few years ago.
Can someone verify that this is a hawk? Is it an eagle?

1) i think the picture is of an eagle rather than a large hawk or osprey.
2) Scott have you thought of substituting "FREE" for "Unleashing" ?
And 3) i live near where the world's largest Rainbow trout are found, known as the "Gerard Rainbow". The biggest one i know of weighed 46 pounds.

Joe it looks more like an eagle with that long curved beak.

Cool photos! I like that owl, Ken.

I had no idea that Rainbow trout go that big. Based on my fishing experienced I thought they topped out at 14" or so!

Based on the size and shape of the head and the mottled plumage I am guessing immature Bald Eagle. Here is a reduced contrast version of the photo.

My wife and I were out on Fowl River yesterday. True to its name, we saw lots of fowl of various type, including a couple of eagles.
