Need help with age of Camillus utility knife

Can someone help me determine the age of a 4 bladed Camillus utility knife I just picked up at the local antique store?
It has a screwdriver/bottle opener blade, punch & bail on one end, with a can opener & main spear point blade on the other end. The can opener is a hook billed shape, not like the Boy Scout utility knives currently on Ebay. The main blade has the tang stamp CAMILLUS (underlined), NEW YORK, USA. The "C" does not extend over the tops of the other letters, just a regular letter. The blade also has PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT etched on the face. There are no other markings. The knife is just under 3 5/8" long closed. The handles are some sort of plastic (?) simulated jigged bone that is shrinking evenly all around toward the center - there are fairly equal large gaps on all four edges on both sides of the handle. It has no shield. The blades are all bright & shiny with a few peppers. The hand written tag attached to the bail claims it to be WWII era. My camera is on a road trip with my wife so I can't post a picture 'til Tuesday.
